Cogworks, which began in 2017, is a program initiated by the Cognitive Neurology Clinic with the aim of promoting the well-being of seniors and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with dementia. This program is managed by a team of skilled psychologists specialising in neuropsychology and clinical work. Patients are allowed to participate in any activity of their choice – including playing a game of carrom, engaging in upcycled art, baking, and tailoring, with volunteers to help them along the way. The day ends with an hour of exercise and yoga, and we make sure to get a tea break sometime in between. The basement is full of buzz on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10 am to 1 pm. Do stop by for an interesting story or a light conversation with one of our silvers. We also welcome volunteers from the community who would like to contribute to the program.
